Each year, about 150 new students begin studying industrial engineering at LUT, and over the years, Kaplaaki has grown to become the largest industrial engineering student organization in the Nordic countries. Kaplaaki ry engages in versatile collaboration with various companies. For us, it is essential that both parties benefit from the partnership. We offer companies a wide range of collaborative opportunities, such as media exposure, company visits, and joint events. Our goal is to help companies increase their visibility among our student members and build a positive employer image.

LUT University’s industrial engineering students are easily recognized by their dark blue coveralls, where white-printed company logos stand out brilliantly. By investing in a coverall advertisement, a company can support students from their very first year and gain visibility throughout their entire study period. Company visits
Company visits, or excursions, are an excellent opportunity to engage with students on a deeper level and showcase your company in a comprehensive way. The program and participants for excursions can be tailored precisely to your preferences. The main goal is for students to meet your company’s team, observe your operations, and get to know you as a company and potentially as a future employer. Excursions can be a valuable way to make a lasting impression on first-year students early in their studies or a chance to present thesis positions or trainee programs, serving as a direct recruitment event for students nearing graduation.
